EXO - Baby Don't Cry

SM's latest male group has created much hype with their numerous teasers (I lost count after 3 teasers) which is no surprise since SM has a high reputation of debuting idols. But in this article, I'm gonna talk about a song which is not in EXO's first album, rather made it's appearance in the teaser videos. The song is titled "Baby Don't Cry", each sub-group having their own version (Korean & Mandarin). Some people have compiled the short teasers released, creating an almost-complete song of both the Korean & Mandarin versions.

What got me addicted to the song is the main rhythm of the whole song, played by the piano. Its simple & repetitive but in a good, peaceful way. A recommended song to accompany you in the car! What I like about the compiled version is that you can hear the different range of vocals in the WHOLE of EXO. From Luhan's soft verses to Baekhyun's powerful pitch to Chen's high notes (which is the highlight to my ear). In comparison, I prefer "Baby Don't Cry" more than "What Is Love". "What Is Love" has a more contemporary beat to it, not a ballad of the norm whilst "Baby Don't Cry" is more emotional & full in sound, something you would expect in a ballad but with a twist to it :)

Below is the teaser of Kai where a preview of the song was released. The dance was cool but Kai tends to rush at certain parts. It would be better if the moves where more relaxed & SLIGHTLY softer. Have a look yourself~
